Monash Science Tutor Lara

Hello, my name is Lara I have just completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Monash University, Majoring in Genetics and minoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I have been tutoring for 5 years with subjects subjects ranging from Maths, Biology, Psychology and Chemistry. I have taught students who range from high school to university level across Australia. I like to spend the initial lesson assessing if the student I am tutoring is having any particular issues with understanding the content taught within the subject. Finally, I like to help the students develop strategies for answering questions in either a SAC or exam setting. I also make sure that I adopt a lesson style that is catered towards the needs of the individual student. I am able to tutor students in-person at the Melbourne State Library or surrounding areas. I also am able to provide online tutoring via Zoom. $50/hour for 1 student
