USYD Arts Tutor James

Hello! My name is James and I am a current student at the University of Sydney, doing a Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Study in Spanish and Latin American Studies and Mathematics. I graduated from Sydney Secondary College Blackwattle Bay in 2021 with E4/Band 6 results in Mathematics Extension 1, Mathematics Extension 2, English Extension, and Spanish Beginners. With these, I was able to achieve an ATAR of 97.4. I have also been tutoring for a couple of years now and have acquired a lot of experience in tutoring High School students and helping them get through the HSC. I am hugely passionate about teaching others the things that I love. I have a great interest in finding new and clever ways of explaining Mathematical concepts to others, and I hope to be able to do the same with you all. In my classes, I aim to be able to tailor my lessons to your own learning styles. I am very open to feedback regarding my teaching as I hope to deliver the best classes to you! As for me, in my spare time I love to learn languages. Currently, I am studying Spanish and Farsi (Persian). I also love to travel. I have been to 29 countries and I do not plan on stopping any time soon! Moreover, I also love to read, drink coffee, and write - having been a finalist in numerous poetry competitions.
