UQ Science Tutor Esabel

Hi! I completed my Bachelor of Science (Class I Hons), receiving a Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence award in 2024. I am currently on an academic break till April 2025 when I will start my PhD. I am deeply passionate about teaching and want to dedicate my academic break to this. I am an experienced tutor, both through UQ and private tutoring. I have tutored MICR3003, CHEM1100, STAT1201 and other electives. My teaching style is interactive and 1-on-1 as I prefer to provide my full attention to my students. I also provide feedback on assignments. I use each assignment's criteria sheet to help you know where there's room for improvement, and provide notes on structure, grammar, writing style etc. I offer online tutoring sessions on Zoom. Alternatively, if you prefer face-to-face interactions, I'm available for meet-ups at St Lucia UQ. My tutoring rate per individual is $50/hour.
