USYD Engineering Tutor Angus

Hi there! My name is Angus and I am an HD average student in my 4th year of Mechatronic Engineering Hons. and Commerce (Finance) at USYD. I have a lot of experience tutoring mechatronics both privately and for the university, having been a USYD Teacher/T.A. for three years tutoring the introductory mechatronic course. I currently have an engineering WAM of 86, and a mechatronic subject WAM (MTRX code subjects) of 92. I am an outgoing and friendly guy who has developed a great passion for mechatronics (especially coding) and the logical, problem-solving way of thinking that it inspires. Before university, I had absolutely ZERO idea about mechatronics and did not come from a technical background at all and thus my teaching heavily emphasises learning the intuition behind the topics and breaking them down into the fundamentals so that anyone can understand them. I find that, especially in mechatronics, many tutors have a long history in the disciple or are simply gifted students who are not always able to relate to the average student and teach difficult topics intuitively.
