While the content is probably necessary, it's incredibly boring, and while I don't think there's much of a way to make it interesting, the instructors don't try particularly hard. If you love learning about software "models" and how to draw them from scenarios, you'll like this subject, otherwise make sure you're doing some interesting subjects at the same time to keep yourself motivated.
