Unless you mention the theory your tutor likes, you have no chance in getting good marks in your assessment. Lecture slides are poorly put together and it is difficult to decipher what the actual content is. Lecturer tends to talk about self and personal life more than the content (maybe it's because there was hardly anything on the slides?)

This subject is at times frustrating but important for knowing what university, at least business at university is all about; critical thinking. They will present theories and concepts and expect you to not only understand them at face value, but also go in depth and evaluate those concepts and create your own opinion. At times you will find this course boring and vague, but know that this subject really does lay the foundation to what management subjects are like.

i studied BUSM4176 along with three other subjects in the first semester of Year 1. This is seriously the worst subject! I was thinking of doing bachelor of business (management) and within 6 weeks, I made a quick decision of changing my major into business accountancy.

The 2015 notes that Jess is selling are not worth buying as the course in semester 1 2016 comprises a total change of topics, assessment and text book.
