Excellent base subject for students wishing to pursue a career in digital design and communication. The course covers design principles and you will come away with an understanding of how advertisement layouts work.

Interesting subject and definitely worthwhile for anyone looking to go into the Creative Industries. Work hard and follow the lectures and you can do well, don't get discouraged by the combination of theory and practical work! Definitely not a subject for those looking to bludge the semester :)

Enjoyable and informative if you put the effort in. Wouldn't recommend it as a bludge elective because it is so time consuming.

Felt I struggled all semester to grasp some of the concepts as it isn't catered for non-design students

Content was excellent. Quality of recorded lectures sometimes not good enough for when classes need to be missed.

Really depends on your designing talent... my tutor does not give advices on how to refine the assessments to make them better and appealing.
