This is a must for any lovers of Shakespeare and film. Shane Holtaas dedicates 2-3 weeks to a different play and its adaptations, encouraging class discussion and debate after each movie. He is very flexible with the topics you can write about in your assignments and is very open minded with your interpretations, as long as you can back it up. He is also fairly lenient with due dates, and offers encouraging feedback. I highly recommend this course - it is challenging but also interesting and engaging
