Engineering Science - DW George (ES)

Description

Confusingly enough, this building is also referred to as the ‘DW George’ building. It is one of the biggest buildings in the Engineering precinct on campus, and you’ll recognise it from its large chunks of red bricks and concrete on the outside. If you’re coming over the bridge past the Language Centre (LC), it is the first building on your left. Between this building and the Engineering Classrooms (ES) there is a large main courtyard, covered by a big cream-coloured shade sail. The building is home to both the department of Mechanical Engineering and the department of Computer Science and Software Engineering. Also found in this building are lecture theatres and faculty offices.
