Reviews

Sandra Wilson is always a great Unit Coordinator to have. She is strict and may seem scary at first, but she knows and loves so many aspects of Japanese history and culture and can teach a lot. The unit covers so many things; the Tokugawa period, treatment of Korea, villages in the 1930's, women, war. Sandra has promised to think about uploading lecture notes online in the future, but for now a great tip is to be prepared to actively listen and take as many notes as possible the first time you listen, as you're less likely to do so later on Echo. She's very interactive in lectures, do not be afraid to yell out an answer - even if it turns out wrong!
