I agree with every point the previous poster has made. Both Amin and Malik are terrible lecturers who simultaneously explain things way too fast and skim on many important details about the concepts. The amount of content they expect students to be familiar with is insane and impossible to memorize and digest (especially if you are a beginner to networking and computer architecture)…for example, nearly all of the 12 weeks lectures slides are 80-90 slides long but only contain brief explanations in point form about the concepts that the students are required to understand….in the end I had to turn to YouTube videos to help facilitate my learning instead. I don't understand what they were thinking by cramming so much content into each week's lectures. The overall structure of this unit (both lectures and tutorials) is very badly organized as there wasnt a lot additional materials to try out in order to better prepare for either the assignments or exam (For instance, A lot of the practice mock MCQ exam questions they do provide was something that neither the tutors or lecturers explained nor were they covered in the lecture slides or tutorial worksheets).....honestly all i could think about when taking this unit is passing the exam, rather than getting HD

This is the absolute worst unit I have ever been forced to do in my life. Lectures are packed full of an absolutely insane amount of content that you're expected to memorise. The lecturers were also terrible at explaining the content, especially the second lecturer Malik who was next to impossible to understand. The tutorials were completely useless, completely unorganised, and felt like a complete waste of time. Assignments were also completely disorganised and it was a struggle to even understand what you were expected to do with the limited information that they gave you. I absolutely despised every single second of this unit. Please for the sake of your sanity don't do this unit unless you're 100% required to.
