Extremely interesting subject and probably the best subject I've taken so far in the Master of AI (and it's not even a core, it's an elective subject). This is the lead on from either undergraduate or graduate fundamental of AI. It covers topics such as search algorithms including the time dimension, multi agent path finding, sub-optimal search, classical planning, MDPs and reinforcement learning. The teaching team are very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching the course. There is no final exam, with that role being taken up by the assignments and the weekly labs. The assignments are the best part of the subject. Both are projects that focus on you creating agents to interact with complex environments, such as planning and routing 10s to 100s of agents on a railway simulator with no collisions, and another where you create a game playing competitive team of Pacman agents. That being said they are very challenging and large assignments, and will require a lot of time to complete them. However you definitely feel rewarded after completing them, as they are non-trivial problems. This is the go to subject if you want to study graduate level search algorithms.
