Good unit for learning swift and developing iOS apps. No exam, but assignments are time consuming and not too hard. You don't need to have a Mac to do the unit because you're able to use the Mac Lab at uni (you get 24hr access), but it's obviously more advantageous if you do own one as you're not restricted by time or location to work on assignments. Lectures and workshops are really informative and helpful in explaining and building your understanding of swift. I'd recommend this unit for anyone interested in apps development (the assignments require you to come up with an app and develop it), as it can be quite enjoyable especially if you're really keen on an app you'd like to develop.
