Interesting subject. The unit is divided into three components: Rico's, Katya's, and Alison's. I loved Rico's component – the lectures were concise and his workshops included fun demonstrations and straight to the point questions & answers. Then the format for Katya's weeks started to get muddy with the introduction of computational chemistry and her lectures were comprised of a lot of parts however, she was very nice and responsive if you needed help. Interestingly, Alison fused her lectures and workshops so you had to watch/attend the workshops to keep up to date. A pro to this subject is that the workshops are recorded and the laboratories are every second week but you must write a full lab report excluding the three weeks of computational chemistry where it's a 'quiz'. The assignments were also new and challenging + help is just one email away. Overall, a fun subject where you can get a HD if you put in the work.
