Liked the language but quite disappointed with the heavy focus on culture and the little to no practice of oral speaking during tutorials or workshops. The goal of the unit is also quite confusing. There needs to be a more holistic review and understanding. More attention should be given to developing language skills and not imposing unrealistic standards of language. Language analysis for cultural articles here should be more developed, perhaps with the usage of a framework. Definitely needs to actively engage students. Easy to become discouraged because of the level of difficulty and high expectations so more support should be given.
