Reviews

I came to this unit from a Philosophy background and thoroughly enjoyed it. The subject matter was highly interesting and covered broad topics relating to the ethics involved in international war (Just War Theory), to more specfic topics such as the ethics of nuclear weapons, drone strikes and targeted killings, and, the future of robotic warfare. The tutor I had was very helpful and the lecturers were passionate and knew how to keep the subject matters interesting.

It covered Just War Theory in relation to modern day conflicts. A major component of the units marks depends on two article analyses.
