One of my favourite subjects to this day! Super informative, my tutor was an absolute legend, and while it was challenging it really helped me grow academically.

I can say this was a great subject to anyone who never skipped lessons and any student who put effort to learn. I passed just fine

This unit was super interesting and interactive. I enjoyed the tutorials and lectures equally. The hour and a half lecture time, as well as only a single lecture, was unusual, but I got used to it.

Really interesting content. It does a good job of laying the groundwork for future studies in the international studies/international relations AOS's. It's also very heavily focused on aiding first years in things like research and essay writing, far more so than any other unit. The down side of that was that they were really picky about correcting referencing.

Absolutely loved this unit, so engaging, the assignments go well with the unit and the exam seems fairly easy!

Simple and engauging unit, brilliant lectures and lecturers, but tutes did leave a bit to be desired, highly reccomend for first years!

The lecturers actually make the lectures very enjoyable and fun! The content is very interesting however assignments can be a little tricky to approach. Also tutes are great as well because the discussion is very interesting and quite laid back to be honest, but definitely keep up with the readings or else you won't know what is going on in the tutes at all.

This subject is slightly vague and seems to cover some areas in high detail whilst completing disregarding others - understandably not everything can be covered but it just seems a bit random at times. Lecturers are great though, assignments are terrible unless you enjoy essays/analysis. Content is interesting though

I never did any history studies at school and before embarking on this subject I didn't even know about the cold war!!!!! So I started from ground zero but now I feel like an educated, university level student... but it took a whole lot of work! I am doing the second half of this subject next semester. I found it to be thoroughly engaging, fascinating content and passionate and helpful professors.

Slightly vague and a lot more history orientated than international relations/studies, compulsory though and not too bad overall.
