Description
The Jock Marshall Reserve Nature Walk features an elevated footbridge which winds through a large reserve featuring native flora and fauna, a second lake area and is home to a variety of different native species, especially bird species. The board walk is approximately 200m in length and is located between College Walk (near residential halls) and Blackburn Road on the far eastern side of campus. Take the path to the right at the crossroad near Turner residential hall. In addition to the board walk itself, there are plenty of seating areas, in addition to book leaning rails, wheelchair accessible desks and powerpoints for charging. This area is used by students from the School of Biological Sciences for research purposes but is open to everyone.
