probably the worst subject I've ever done LOL (at least it was an elective). I have done little- no botany background previously so when I tell you I STRUGGLED. Literally felt like everyone knew the content and what was going on except me :,))) the assessment weightings are so difficult asw - most tasks are less than 20% which means it's all up to the exam to get the most grades which sucks if you struggled throughout like me. Despite all that, I did learn some new things I've never learnt before and it is an interesting subject but I do not recommend if you're considering it as an elective with no experience in botany unless you're prepared for serious blood, sweat and tears and many mental breakdowns :)) (as I write this I lay in mental anguish praying I passed after completing the exam)

Very challenging for those without any botany background but a very worthwhile subject if you can put in the time and effort. Learned more about any single subject (i.e botany) than I have learned of any other topic in any other semester.
