This subject (in sem 1, 2016) was pretty terrible. The microbiology section wasn't nearly as bad as the biochem part, but by that point most people had given up and stopped going to lectures. The uni had to lower the pass rate for the final exam from 50% to 35% halfway through the semester because they were concerned that too many people would fail. The biochem lecturer had never taught a class before. His slides were incomprehensible, he delivered them way too fast and was rude when I asked him to at least take the full lecture slot (he kept finishing 10 minutes early and leaving everyone totally confused). Mentioning this subject still gets a groan out of all the vet students who had to take it last year. Would definitely recommend getting a tutor or using other resources apart from his notes to try to understand the biochem section.
