Wow! what an incredible subject, this unit sent me down a rabbit hole and completely changed the way I view technology. Roland is incredible, his feedback gave me confidence and improved the way I write an essay. Some of his lectures can be hard to follow as you can tell he is quite passionate about the content and tends to diverge away from his original point. Also a lot is crammed into one lecture, so you really have to be on the ball. The assessments were fun and interesting, though some of the weekly readings were trying and difficult to grasp. Note: They are 100% necessary to pass the subject so keep on top of them. If you're a social studies, philosophy or psychology major this is definitely a subject you would enjoy. Anthropology majors you should look forward to this unit, it has been my favourite in the anthropology sequence so far!
