the course felt pointless, it doesnt relate to the degree at all. I dont understand why it is compulsory. the lectures and the tutorials were boring and have literally no information. This course should be cancelled, the assignments were literally a joke and you would just waste your time and money studying this subject

VERY easy course that you can easily get a 7 in. The lecture content is basically repeated in the tutorials and weekly workbooks, so I would recommend watching them on 1.5 or 1.75 speed and skimming over the notes prior to the quizzes. The structure of the course is almost identical to that of PUBH1103, so I would definitely recommend completing them in the same semester. The assessment items are also pretty engaging, but time consuming, so it is important to actually start early. The only negative is the absolute T R A S H teaching team. Lisa, the main lecturer, simply does not reply to emails or if she does, she will take her damn time with it (+1 week). The tutors are unbelievably boring with one of them coming across as so weird which makes everyone feel uncomfortable.

Enlightening course. Not difficult at all. Just work hard in the major assessments. Make sure to have detailed notes that you can review just before the quizzes and you'll be fine.

Provides a good background of Indigenous history, culture and health. It analyses many Indigenous health programs of the past and present, and where to go in the future.
