I really enjoyed this unit. Cathy gives guidance on how to do the Lit review, which was great because I'd never done one. I really liked the weekly activities as they made the unit more fun and gave me an experience of being an active citizen. The activities are like signing up to vote, volunteering, writing a letter to a local MP. You need to stay on top of these though (I always did mine in a mad rush late the night before the class). Additionally it's a pass fail unit, so you'll get a HD if you stay on top of everything. Also Cathy is chill and not too scary and brought us biscuits on the last day. This was one of my first units at uni and I found it as a good intro. Its not too content heavy, and the class is small and you can make connections. Not having an exam is good as well.

Fantastic unit and super easy HD. The assessments consist of a case study, two journal entries and a digital story. There are no lectures for this. Instead, there are short readings or videos to go through before each tutorial. It is amazing to engage in the community and have a deeper understanding of how important community connectedness is. I highly recommend this unit!
