I was actually excited for a more clinically based psych unit, and although the content was interesting, the assessments were not reflective of your comprehension of the content at all! The essay assignment was very different from any psych assignment we had done before and the marking was way too harsh for what they were asking, considering how vague the marking key was and marks being taken away on very little ground. With other students also upset with their essay grade, it definitely seemed like the tutors were just marking in a way to reach a certain class grade average. The exam structure had been changed from previous years which took a lot of pressure off (we were given a list of around 20 questions prior to the exam, with a random 8 selected to be in the exam). Overall, did not enjoy this unit and didn't really like Ben as a UC
