This unit begins fairly straight forward and increases signifciantly in difficulty. The assignments are striaght forward and with a bit of effort 90%+ is achievable. The group assignment also relatively straight forward and 90%+ is possible. Exam is weighted 60% and was signifciantly harder than practice exams/content delivered throughout semester. Plenty of prep is required as entire cohort walked out of exam thinking they failed. Make sure you maintain high average going into exam so you only need minimal marks to pass. Jie Pan is very passionate about teaching this unit but sometimes fails to explain concpets clearly. The prac class is essentially a 2nd lecture and theres very limited/no given practice problems which makes this unit hard.
