I loved this unit. Very informative, engaging, and interesting. Tutorials were so much fun but you do need to participate in them to get a good mark. The essay was fun to write, and was indeed flexible, although a little daunting because it made up 50% of the unit mark! The two reflective writing pieces were interesting to write; fun, but slightly challenging as I found I haven't had much practice with reflective writing before. Marking for both of these was very good, and I don't think it was harsh at all. My only slight issue was that feedback for written assessments was virtually non-existent. In the comment section on turnitin where you'd usually receive feedback, elements of the marking rubric you'd hit were simply copied and pasted. I had to see my tutor to discuss my reflective writing pieces. However, I loved this unit, so I don't mind too much.

Absolutely amazing unit. Loved focusing on the more positive sides of Noongar people and not too much negative history,.mostly positive history and current stuff. Loved the flexibility of the essay. Just got to choose the main focus of moort, katitjin, or boodja and something to do with it.
