Australian Constitutional Law was very different to a lot of the other core subjects and it can be at times confusing if you don't understand the core concepts such as 'characterisation'. This is a subject where if you can work hard at it in the beginning and have a good set of notes, it will fall into place.

Heavy content and workload with weekly submissions to be juggled with your other Law subjects - and conflicting/unclear instructions at times plus no uniformity in tutors' approach. Very tough final exams given the nuances and again this should have been set as a take home paper assessment rather than in a 2 hour exam bearing in mind it is an early Core subject for Law studies.

This subject was as interesting as my grandfather when he sleeps. Together with 7 of my colleagues, I understood absolutely nothing until the night before the exam. Have a stiff drink before you write it. Think of it like a creative writing class. Unicorns and fairies. Everywhere.

Overall it was an interesting subject with a heavy content load. The assessments and final exam were fair - neither easy nor was it too difficult.

An interesting subject, though at times, poorly taught. Don't waste your time getting the textbook.
