It is the most interesting subject I've ever done. It is both challenging and rewarding. I was so caught up by the elegance of the logic. The lectures were quite... brief but the handouts are both concise and detailed. A lot of hard work and efforts are required. It sometimes took me 9 hours to solve the weekly problem sets but you will feel a huge excitement once you work them out! Probably don't count too much on the lecture, self-learning and independent thinking could be pretty important in this course.

An enjoyable and interesting subject dealing with game theory, but I like micro, so it was not a problem. Abhijit is a very sociable lecturer, who explains the content very well, and I'm absolutely impressed with the way he keeps the class engaged, using interesting examples in the lecture handouts (for instance, 'matching' men and women in the design of matching markets!) Few examples are done in the lecture, so when you do the problem set questions, you need to really think about it. There were a variety of questions (such as applying game theory to evolutionary biology), and his solutions were very clear most of the time. It is an insanely difficult course, but Abhijit did say this in the first week! Work hard from day 1, and hopefully it won't be as overwhelming as I sometimes found it.
