Honestly underwhelming. Lectures were super dry (which is disappointing because I really enjoy this kind of content). Tutorials aren’t on a staggered schedule so the tutorials are held when the lecture hasn’t even been uploaded yet, meaning no one has much to say. They say 'you get what you put in' from the tutorials but that's just not true. Expected more. One upside was that assignments were interesting and they give you lots of info and resources to work with.

Lectures went on for too long, readings were too hard and barely went through them in tutes. 'Understanding Society' SOCI10001, was a more enjoyable subject for me and was a more accessible introductory class to sociology. It depends on individual learning styles, I know some people who found the lectures and classes of this subject manageable and enjoyable however, the way content was delivered wasn't for me. Assessments were not too hard but were dry with vague instructions.

Pretty good intro to sociology. Lectures went for 2 hours which was a bit long for the content covered. Tutorials were okay but it felt like we never really achieved anything in them. Powerpoints were sometimes worded a bit funny and hard to understand.
