I did this subject in Sem 2 2021 and it was called "The Rise of the Novel". We had to read 3 novels over the course of the semester with different assessments on each one. The actual concept of the subject was very interesting and I was looking forward to it, but the tutor wasn't very engaging at all. The 2.5-hour long tutorials were too long and they were often very slow and boring. The discussion in class was great sometimes, but often it was unclear what the tutor was expecting.
