Great introduction into basic filmmaking without too much heavy content. Only 1 lecture a online week with guest lecturers, mostly explaining film concepts with examples using clips. Weekly quizzes were easy, although sometimes not relevant to concepts taught. Main assessments were a storyboard assignment and a director's statement essay. Both included guidance lectures where you could ask questions, and helpfully look at examples of older submissions giving an idea of what was expected. High marking for not too much effort, although feedback was limited due to being entirely online. Recommended breadth subject for a glimpse into film making.

Boring subject. The teachers didn't give us much guidance on the assignments. The quizzes were fairly easy. The content was super boring, the 2 hours lectures were way too long. Not a guaranteed H1 even if you really put so much effort into it.

This subject is a slay! engaging, fun, and easy to score well. Also no tutorials and all online so can be a bit of a nice break sometimes!
