This subject covers a wide range of mathematical concepts in one semester, meant to equip you with the tools to tackle mathematical problems in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. Tutorials were extremely helpful and taught really well by Daniel. Assignments were alright and quite similar to the tutorial questions. You would probably breeze through the first 3/4 of the subject if you've done Calculus 2 and Linear Algebra. However, the subject lacked demonstration of how the tools were to be used in economics, and instead ended up feeling a lot like a math subject with the rare applications in economics. Nonetheless, it's a rewarding subject if you put in consistent effort throughout the course. After all, it's math — practice is key.

I got 99 out of 100 in my undergraduate study. This must be the subject I excel at the most. The base is some basic math. The key is the Lagrangian.
