Really cool 'subject' which gives you a glimpse of what life as a researcher is like. My main criticism is that the research period only lasts about eight weeks, and the rest is left to prepare a talk and write a report. There's no exam, no assignments of a normal nature, and during the first few weeks of the semester you don't actually do anything because that time is reserved for choosing a supervisor and deciding on a project. The short project also offers insight into what your future masters/honours supervisor would be like, and can act as a heads-up. (P.S. I took this subject in semester 2, 2014, but that doesn't appear in the drop-down menu, so I'll select semester 1, 2017, which is the oldest option available.)
