Very good subject, with the two main lecturers being passionate and engaging. I am not a botanist, and I don't plan to be, but they still made the content engaging and interesting enough for me to enjoy. With that said, the practical aspects are definitely the highlight of this subject, with two excursions and the plant collection being awesome. It's definitely a subject you'll get more out of if you really embrace all of it and get into the practicals and assignments. The exam was rougher than I was expecting, with 30 MCQ and the rest being 5, 10 or 20 mark questions, but if you study well it should be fine.

Brilliant, interesting engaging subject. I loved it, and it is full of practical knowledge on plant families. Creating a plant collection is so much fun, and you will become a plant nerd and LOVE it!
