Discover the Museum of Antiquities (UNEMA) at the University of New England, Australia’s only regional museum of classical antiquities. Explore antiquities from Greece, Rime, Egypt, and the Ancient Near East. See the nationally significant Stewart Collection of Cypriot material from the Stone Age to the medieval world, and experience material culture from Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania. Enjoy thematic displays including automata through the ages, masks of the world, and the arts and crafts of the 19th century. UNEMA provides tactile objects, push button experiences, virtual animations and augmented reality artefacts, as well as audio guides in the free “Discover UNE” app, to help everyone explore the history of peoples through the ages.
