Hi, I’m Shweni! I’m studying a Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Macquarie University, and before that I studied Applied Psychology in Mumbai. I’ve been tutoring for about two years, most recently with HiiQ Tutoring here in Sydney.
What I teach
Years 11-12 (HSC): Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and English
Years 7-10: Maths, Science, English, History and Geography
How I teach
I break topics down step by step until they actually make sense, instead of rushing through the textbook. Every lesson follows your school’s syllabus and whatever you’re doing in class that week. I set practice questions, keep track of how you’re going week to week, and keep parents updated. My psychology background helps a lot with students who get nervous about exams, so I’m patient and happy to go at your pace.

I’m based in Parramatta. I can come to your house, you can come to mine, or we can meet at uni or a local library. Online lessons work too, and I’m happy to travel across Sydney.
