Hello students and parents! I am James Small, a 3rd year undergraduate at the University of Melbourne. I am majoring in Applied Mathematics with a diploma in Computing. I graduated from Churchlands Senior High School in 2023 with a perfect ATAR and have maintained strong academic results through University with a WAM of 91.2; Over the past 3 years I've had over 1000 hours of high school tutoring experience and excellent results (and testimonials), so I have learnt a lot about what students need to do well and where they tend to fail the most. My teaching strategy is adaptive and in-depth; YOU ARE THE FOCUS and I am happy to focus on whatever topic you need to until you are completely confident, and adapt to your needs! Uni subjects can move at a rapid pace, so it's important to have strong, intuitive understanding of topics and core concepts to not get overwhelmed. I will help you every step of the way to get to that point!
