With over 8 years of tutoring experience, teaching is something I genuinely enjoy and take a lot of pride in. These days, I'm most passionate about teaching the MMI because I believe it's where I can make the biggest difference for students. The MMI can be a daunting experience, and I believe the best preparation has both structure and support. If you are looking for lessons that are systematic, well-resourced, but also a space where you're comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from them, I think we'd work well together! My goal is to make sure every student has built both their skills and confidence by interview day. 📍 What our lessons will look like As is the case with learning anything, I believe the best way to learn the MMI is to have the lessons personalised to you I provide 3 options for you to choose from, based on where you currently sit with the MMI: ✔️ 𝟏. Comprehensive Walkthrough If the MMI feels new and overwhelming, we will start from the beginning! Everything from going over the format of the interview, to learning relevant content one-by-one and patiently practicing putting this together into a well structured answer in a stress-free environment. ✔️ 𝟐. Guided Practice (MOST POPULAR) If you have a decent understanding of the MMI and its topics, but need more practice converting your ideas into well-formulated answers, we will start with questions, identify areas for improvement, and refine your content, structure, and delivery as we go! ✔️ 𝟑. Mock-MMI Sessions If you feel confident about the MMI and looking for real-life practice, we will jump straight to the timed Mock-MMI sessions with comprehensive feedback at the end to polish your skills and upgrade your to that final level. Everyone will progress at their own pace, but eventually (with some good work from the both of us) will be at 𝟑 and beyond by the time interviews are here!!! Of course, these are just a guide and I will make sure to chat to each and every one of you about what you want our lessons to look like! So please feel free to message me with questions, personal requests or anything else - always happy to hear about where you are on your MMI jounrey and how you are feeling as a starting point 😊 📍 Below are the resources I have prepared for our lessons, 📖 Comprehensive breakdown guide to MMI interview format, types of questions, what to expect on the day, and what they are looking for 📖 Slides and take-home documents covering relevant topics for the MMI (medical ethics, the Australian medical system, Indigenous and rural health, etc) 📖 80+ Practice questions organised by topics tested in the MMI 📖 5x 8-Station Mock MMI (University of Melbourne Format) as timed, interactive slides designed to look like the real thing 💁‍♂️ A bit more about me, 📍 Graduated the BSci at the University of Melbourne in 2024 📍 Interviewer for university club committee recruitment in 2024-25 📍 University of Melbourne MD CSP from 2025 📍 Peer Tutoring Volunteer for MD1 Students in 2026 📍 Tutoring for total 8+ years, Interview tutoring for 2+ years

I honestly couldn’t have gotten into the University of Melbourne Doctor of Medicine without Clive's tutoring! Preparing for the MMI can feel overwhelming, but Clive completely transformed my approach. He helped me break down complex ethical scenarios, structure my thought process under tight time constraints, and communicate with genuine confidence rather than sounding rehearsed. The mock interview sessions were realistic, challenging, and paired with precise, actionable feedback after every single station. Clive didn't just teach me what to say, but rather how to think on my feet to deliver authentic, high-scoring responses.

Clive is a great tutor who truly puts in the time and effort to help you succeed. I started off with very little knowledge about the MMI and only had a short time to prepare, but Clive was able to provide a clear breakdown of the expectations and helped me formulate refined responses that still felt genuine to myself. Even after only a few sessions with Clive, his valuable feedback helped me improve from vague, surface-level answers to becoming more succinct and understanding exactly how to approach the questions within the time limit with confidence. With his help I was able to receive a Unimelb med offer! I learned a lot from his advice about the overall process and found the sessions very similar to the real thing. He is super easy-going and encouraging whilst giving focused feedback, I can't recommend him enough!

Clive helped me develop a clear structure and strategy for approaching different MMI stations. What I appreciated most was how personalised and detailed his feedback was, identifying specific areas I could improve, and explaining how to strengthen my answers. Over the course of our sessions, I became much more confident and comfortable communicating my ideas under pressure. I would recommend Clive to anyone preparing for an MMI as his insights made a significant difference to my preparation!
