Hi! My name is Alex, and I’m currently studying Engineering at RMIT University. I was born and raised in Japan, and Japanese is my first language. I’m also fluent in English, so I can explain grammar, vocabulary, and cultural differences clearly in English when needed. This is especially helpful for students learning Japanese at school or university who want extra support understanding tricky concepts. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and flexible. I adjust lessons depending on the student’s level and goals, whether that is homework help, speaking practice, grammar explanation, or improving confidence in conversation. As a tutor, I can help with Japanese grammar, sentence structure, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, hiragana, katakana, kanji, homework, assignments, cultural understanding, and natural expressions.
