Hi, I’m Selene — a final-year Law and Business (Marketing) student with a Distinction-average WAM across both law and business subjects. Alongside my studies, I work as an in-house paralegal, which means I apply legal concepts daily in real commercial and regulatory contexts — something students often find especially helpful when bridging theory and practice. My teaching style is structured, practical and confidence-building. I focus on: breaking down complex legal and business concepts into clear, logical steps; exam technique; problem-question structure and issue-spotting; essay writing; referencing; and improving marks using rubrics and feedback I adapt each session to the student’s learning style and assessment requirements, whether it’s contracts, torts, equity, corporate law, marketing strategy or business analytics. I have tutored students (primary through to uni) for over three years, supporting students to lift grades through better structure and exam strategy, understand the assessment rubric and deciphering what the marker wants, manage workload, and assessment planning. Students often tell me I’m calm, clear and good at explaining things without overcomplicating them. I can tutor online, from home, or on campus. My rates are: $90/hour for individual sessions. $80/hour per person for groups of 2 or more.
