MMI & Casper Tutoring From Someone Who’s Been Exactly Where You Are Hey there! I’m a current MD student at the University of Queensland (UQ). I interviewed at UQ and received a first round CSP offer through the Greater Brisbane entry pathway. But this journey was anything but smooth and easy. When I applied, I had a combo of 1.66 (50/78/72), far from the kind of score that would guarantee a first round offer on its own. And after sitting the MMI four times (at Monash, UWA, and UQ), I learned firsthand how challenging it can be to stand out under pressure. I understood that my interviews would determine my chances, so I focused on developing the skills to perform at my best, because let’s be honest, who really wants to do more GAMSAT. My journey wasn’t defined by instant success; it was defined by persistence, growth, and an obsession with understanding what makes a response powerful and genuine. As a Fraser’s Medical trained mock interview marker and tutor, I’ve helped many applicants rebuild their confidence and find their voice. I scored a 78 in Section 2, which I went on to teach, and achieved a Q4 Casper on my first attempt.
