Hi I'm Will :) Currently studying graduate entry medicine at UNDF. I have studied a bit of everything - law, science, arts, and now Medicine (I am old, yes) and think I have picked up a few helpful tips and methods over the years of being a full-time student. Regarding the arduous process of medical school entry, I’ve sat CASPer twice and achieved two fourth-quartile results, interviewing at Notre Dame on my second attempt and receiving a CSP despite a lower-than-average overall combination. I see interviews as a space to express who you are and what you bring to the table. After consulting various tutors, I find there is a common thread of finding 'value' for money by oversupplying resources, and under-providing on useful, individualised support. I will not teach a set 'formula' but rather help you refine the features of your personality that will allow you to deliver your authentic self to the markers. Regarding GAMSAT, I am only really helpful for Section 2. In this section, I have received marks of 75 and then an 80. This was crucial in mitigating a lacklustre section 3 for me personally! I am happy to mark essays and help develop the skills of authentic, personalised communication. I truly think advancing skills in this area leads to a richer quality of life and engagement with the world around us. Probably the only part of GAMSAT I truly came to enjoy!
