UQ Health Tutor Sam

Hey there! My name is Sam and I have just completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at UQ (June '25) in 5 semesters | 5x Dean's Commendation for Academic Excellence. I will be undergoing a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies starting in Summer Semester '25. I previously completed a Bachelor of Business Management before providing program administration and small-team management for Queensland Health and a mental health NGO. In 2023 I returned to UQ to study Biomedical Science. As many students do, I needed to teach myself new techniques and develop better study habits to stay on top of the more complex content of a science degree - my hope is that I can support you to do the same with less trials and tribulations! I inadvertantly found myself de-facto tutoring a number of my classmates, and found that information reinforced by conversation and consensus was information understood. Given my recent graduation I can provide salient advice for a range of courses, including the content focus of previous assessment and time management guidance. I can also provide proofreading, feedback and general support for assignments, having previously contributed to the review process for theses at a PhD level.
