Subject help, GAMSAT S3 and MMI tutor
Hello, I am Arshnoor, an MD1 at the University of Sydney. I have completed my Bachelor in Biomedicine from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Human Structure and Function. With my strong academic background and passion for teaching, I can support you in preparing for GAMSAT section 3, MMI and any of the undergraduate subjected listed.
I have a flexible approach to tutoring and tailor my sessions to your need. I prefer a structured approach when approaching GAMSAT prep and MMI.
For section 3, my focus is on building a strong foundation in basic science concepts. I can provide targeted sessions on the topics you are struggling with in section 3 and clear your doubts. Or we can work topics wise and systematically cover physics, chem and bio, while also building some critical mathematical concepts to quickly solve questions.
Having done the interviews for 7 Med schools and getting the offer from ANU, Monash, UWA, Macquarie, Griffith, UniMelb and USYD, I have a good understanding of the different requirements, and the level of preparation needed to ace the interviews. There are 3 essential things you should do while prepping:
1) Gain a thorough understanding of relevant topics
2) Have a structured approach
3) Sufficient practice
Additionally, the subjects that I have listed from my undergrad were the ones that I absolutely loved and did very well (H1) in. I'm happy to help you if you are struggling with chemistry, anatomy, biology and scientific essay writing. Having written multiple literature reviews and reports, I can guide you with your assignments, proof read and help you strengthen your writing. I was in the top 5% of my cohort for Human Structure and Function, so if anatomy is your enemy, I can help you learn and understand an easy way to approach it.
