I’m Brendan, a current first year Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Melbourne, having graduated from Biomedical Science at Monash University in 2024. Last year, I was staring at the daunting prospect of going through the MMI: the most important component of my medicine application. And with a combo score on the lower end of applicants (1.68), I knew that my MMIs had to carry my application. Fortunately, through over 200 hours of preparation and by developing a systematic approach to tackling all stations, I was lucky enough to receive MD offers at the University of Melbourne and Monash University. I’m offering MMI tutoring, where I will provide: 🧠 Personalised feedback that will allow you to build up your verbal and non-verbal communication skills to deliver articulate responses under the immense time constraints 📚 Structured frameworks that allow you to systematically answer any station (even the ones that completely throw you off) and come up with more nuanced points on the fly 🔎 Insights into high-yield content and answers that will allow you to think laterally and separate yourself from other candidates Having just gone through the interview process, I am well-placed in providing up-to-date resources and questions.
