Hi! I'm YiJun, a Computer Science graduate from UNSW with easily over 1000 hours of tutoring experience across Years 7 to Extension 1 Mathematics. I’ve spent the last 4+ years tutoring at Proficiency Education, one of Sydney’s leading maths tutoring centres, and have also privately guided students since 2017, including selective and OC exam preparation. My teaching style is making sure the students understand the content better, not just mindlessly following formulas. I focus on building strong mathematical foundations while helping students develop intuition and confidence in problem-solving. I tailor my lessons to each student’s learning pace and curriculum needs, making sure they not only improve academically but also enjoy the learning process. I currently tutor from burwood library, online, or at the student's house depending on what suits best. Rates: $75/hour for one-on-one lessons $90/hour ($45/hour pp) for two students (group rate) Rates are negotiable depending on circumstances, don’t hesitate to reach out and have a chat.
