I studied law for the specific purpose of solving my immigration case which had dragged on for many years, with five lawyers/legal professionals having failed. By preparing my own case, and representing myself, I won an outright victory, ending 28 years of immigration limbo. My strong point is excellent native speaker English (spoken in "Received Pronunciation” (Google it if necessary)). All evidence relating to ability will be readily accessible, including recordings of my tutoring. I am retired, though not retired from being a perpetual student. How can I help as a tutor? While a law student, I was quite shocked that the lecturers and tutors spoke in heavy accents. If that wasn’t bad enough, they also spoke ungrammatically. Just as a I performed better than the five lawyers did, I feel confident in being able to tutor law students better than some lecturers and official tutors can. I enjoy tutoring, so I don’t charge very much.
