<< GAMSAT tutoring >> scored 100 in S3 twice // overall 86, 87 // Unimelb MD3 Now accepting a limited number of students for March 2026. If you're interested, send me a message with your details and availability and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. ABOUT Current Melb MD3 student; undergrad B.Biomed (Immunology) I sat the GAMSAT twice, scoring 87 and 86 overall (100th percentile) – with 100 in S3 both times and an average score of 77 for S1. March 2016: 78/72/100 = 87 overall March 2023: 76/68/100 = 86 overall Happy to help you with any section. I'm most experienced with S3, however I also enjoy helping students with S1 and S2. I also offer casual MMI tutoring on request, especially for regular students. MY APPROACH - A personalised 'skills development' approach to preparing for the GAMSAT (as opposed to knowledge-heavy). - For S1/S3, we'll focus on using practice questions as a basis for developing fundamental reading/reasoning skills + exam technique, revisiting/relearning basic science concepts + maths skills (for S3), and identifying weaknesses that need specific attention. - My perspective is based on my own experiences and approach to answering questions; I have never worked for a med entry tuition company. My advice generally differs a bit from what is available elsewhere. Need help with basic maths/science fundamentals? - I can guide you through revising relevant concepts up to a GAMSAT standard, i.e. maths/bio/chem/physics etc - I'll provide you with a checklist of topics and recommended resources (mostly free) depending on your study style - I especially like teaching biology. I was a tutor/lecturer for the Australian Science Olympiads Biology program for several years. LESSONS - Via Zoom by default. Very limited availability for in-person sessions near Melb CBD (i.e. once-off) - $90 per 1-hour session for individuals and $65 each for pairs. - Casual or regular help available - From late Jan: weekday evenings and weekend mornings only Prior to or during our first session I'd like to get to know more about you (e.g. what your academic background is, whether you've sat the GAMSAT already / what you're working on, your specific difficulties so far). Usually part of the first session is set aside to discuss the above. Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best :)
