UOW IT Tutor Vincent
I have graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), and have 5 years industry experience in IT (please ignore that I am a current UOW student studying IT). Offering one-on-one tutoring for students currently undertaking an undergraduate degree between 2018 - 2024 1807 Bachelor of Information Technology. Subjects offered to be tutored are from core, major, project and electives outlined from the course handbook. Subjects must be prefixed with the codes CSIT, ISIT, CSCI and OPS.
Teaching style is hybrid with a combination of discussions, practical, and visual learning. Can help with concepts, assignments, group assignments, presentations, laboratories, reports, quizzes and exams. Outcomes are to build confidence, provide guidance and improve grades.
A session and its structure is dependent on the subjects and specific topics requiring attention (will be needed to be provided beforehand), as well as a date and time available to meet. Subsequent sessions can then be scheduled. Sessions are typically for one hour and to be performed at the Uni library, although if necessary in Building 3 (Information Sciences) to use the required hardware and software.
