My name is Georgina and I finished my Master of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) at the University of Melbourne in 2023, after completing a Bachelor of Science (Physics) in 2021. For my Masters, I won the M.L Uruquhart Prize (top graduating student - WAM 94.25) and the Professor Wilson Prize (highest scoring thesis). I majored in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Biology, and minored in Mathematical Physics. I am heading to the University of Oxford in September 2024 to start my PhD in continuum mechanics. I have tutored at the University of Melbourne for over 2 years, and can use my detailed knowledge of how UniMelb maths subjects run from both sides to help you achieve success! At the University, I have tutored: - Linear Algebra (MAST10007), including exam marking - Accelerated Mathematics 1 (MAST10008), including exam marking - Applied Mathematical Modelling (MAST30030), including exam marking - Numerical Methods and Scientific Computing (MAST30028) I have also tutored the following subjects at the University's Residential Colleges: - Vector Calculus (MAST20009) - Differential Equations (MAST20030) I am only available to tutor until mid-September, so I am mainly seeking students for ad hoc sessions.
